It is with great sadness that we announce the passing

of Julie Houle on May 22, 2023, after a long,

courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by Edna (Kevin Brenneis),

Jeanette Boychuk and Lynn (Gerard St. Gelais),

7 grandchildren and one great grandchild and brother

George Houle. She was predeceased by her parents

AIphonse & Mary Houle and brother Simon and

her son Terry Vandermeulen.

Julie was born in Mearns, Alberta. Her relatives

pioneered the area, raising her family in Busby, retiring to

St. Albert. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, singing, and

visiting with friends around the world.

We cannot express our gratitude for the compassionate

care our mother received by professional and

volunteers there. Thank you Pilgrims.

Celebration of Life Service to be held at

St. Albert Catholic Church, 7 St. Vital Ave., St. Albert,

on June 10th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.

A Private Interment will be held in Mearns

St. Charles Cemetery at a later date.
