1933 – 2024

William “Bill” Lundgren Hite at 90 years of age passed away in St. Albert on Thursday, May 16, 2024, after a recent decline in health.

In 1954, Bill met Naoma while attending Young Peoples at St. Andrews United Church and the couple married in 1959. Bill and Naoma “Nomy” went on to have three children, Shauna (Pat), Cameron (Cindy), and Brent (Kerry). After retirement in 1989, Bill and Nomy traveled across Canada and throughout retirement Bill remained active in Kinsmen/K40’s, Masons/Shriners, and St. Albert United Church. He lived a large life, had many close friends in the community and was always teasing and generating laughter around him. He will be remembered for his kind and caring nature and will be deeply missed by all.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Albert United Church, 20 Green Grove Dr., on June 10, 2024, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Bill’s wish would be donations be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or Shriners Hospital for Children, organizations Bill strongly supported.

Bill’s family wish to thank the St. Alberta Sturgeon Hospital staff who tended to him in his final days, as well as his many friends and assistants at River Ridge.
