It is with broken hearts that the family of Dave Gibson announces his sudden passing while vacationing in his happy place of Hawaii.

Dave will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Sue Gibson (nee Delaney); his children: Andrew (JoAnne), Patrick (Sarah), Allison (Nick); brother Peter (Brenda) and many close friends and relatives. His grandchildren, Mikayla, Danae, Brielle, Jake and Connor will miss him greatly and will especially miss helping him with the many questions about any technology he had. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsie and Les Gibson.

Dave was a lover of many things; family dinners, exploring, animals, photography, beaches, oceans, driving, gardening, fires, good food, teasing his children and grandchildren, as well as helping family and friends. He especially loved to take on projects and fix things. There was no project too big or too small, he would find a way to fix it, or add another tool to his collection to do so. You could always find him working in the garage or walking around enjoying the yard. His memory will last forever, along with his very well built tables and countertops.

Mahalo to the first responders in Maui. And also, to Norman’s Funeral Home and Blue Soul Maui, who made it possible for our immediate family to honor Dave with a ceremony in Maui.  Dave will forever rest in the place that he loved and where he experienced the happiest of times with family and friends.

Our family welcomes our many friends and extended family to attend an open house on July 14 from 2-4pm at the home of Dave and Sue to gather and share happy memories of Dave.
