1944 – 2024
Ralph George Fuchs, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024, in St. Albert, AB, at the age of 80. Ralph was born on January 3, 1944, in Empress, AB, and is survived by his wife, Rosemarie, their sons Ian (Belinda) and Ryan, cherished grandchildren Reid, Ethan, Emily, Maggie and sister Diane Reniak (Dave). His legacy as a caring and supportive father, brother and grandfather will be treasured by his family.
Ralph attended SAIT and laid the foundation for a distinguished 30-year career at AGT and TELUS, where his expertise and dedication were greatly valued.
He spent many years volunteering with St. John Ambulance, and was an Officer of The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem.
In retirement, Ralph's passions included sailing the open waters and capturing nature’s beauty through photography. His zest for life and amiable nature touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
