“Life has to end, but love does not”
We have suffered a great loss this last week. In March the diagnosis of a very aggressive brain tumour hit our family hard. We did everything we could to fight this cancer but we lost the battle on November 14.
We lost our husband, dad, papa, father in law, friend and business partner.
Architectural Clearinghouse is a family business and Don was the main driving force behind this company for more than 25 years. He was 74 years old and working hard every day at the shop. There is nothing better than getting to work with family every day and nothing more difficult to deal with than a loss of a family and team member.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna, his daughter Brenda Mydlak, her husband Jerry and their daughter Chloe, his son Adam and his children Emery and Ellis. He is also survived by his brothers Ted (Coral) and Keith (Donna Lee) and his special sister-in-law Margaret Houston as well as numerous other family members and dear friends.
We want to thank all of you who knew what we were going through for all the support and love that has been shown to us. Thank you.
A private family service will be held and donations directly to the Brain Cancer Foundation of Canada in lieu of flowers please.
