1939 – 2024
We are saddened to announce the passing of our father, Aubrey “Sam” DeCorby, following a long battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his late wife, Hazel; his parents, and six brothers. He is survived by his daughters, Margaret and Dawn; and his sons, David and Andrew, and Ken Dion; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will also be missed by many friends, extended family, and his companion, Gerda.
Sam loved road trips, listening to fiddle music, watching sports, and staying in touch with his friends and family. He was a true tinkerer and could fix anything from cars to computers. As per his wishes, he was cremated, and will be interred in Lebret, Sk, at the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery on August 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
