With profound sorrow and deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Anne Dalke at the age of 66. After a brief and courageous journey with cancer, Anne ascended to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 15, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Anne was preceded in her journey by her devoted parents, John and Elizabeth Thiessen, and her dear brothers, John and Vernon. Anne will be deeply missed by her husband Art, as well as her sons and their families; Michael (Erin), Justin, Wendell (Carmel), and Darcy (Krista), as well as her 11 treasured grandchildren.
Anne’s life was a show of her boundless love for others, and her spirit was deeply rooted in her faith, which was the cornerstone of her life and her family’s spiritual path. Though often gentle and reserved, her radiant smile had the power to illuminate any room.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Anne’s compassionate caregivers at the Sturgeon General Hospital. Their loving kindness, care, and support provided Anne with comfort, dignity, and joy in her final days on earth. May her spirit find eternal peace and may her memory continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.
