Norma Coolen of St. Albert passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024, at the age of 97.
Norma will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Janice (Doug) Eglinski; son-in-law David Jamieson; grandchildren Andrew (Charlene), Darren, Evan and Marshall; step great grandchildren Dylen and Jaxon; sister Barb Winges and many nieces and nephews.
Norma is pre-deceased by her husband, Cy; daughter Debbie Jamieson; sisters Trudy Cann, Ruth Seary: and parents Raymond and Jean Creed.
Norma was born in McKay Section, Nova Scotia, moving out west to the prairies with her husband Cy in the 1950’s. She enjoyed a long career in accounting, was an avid reader and crossword enthusiast. She was physically active into her 90’s enjoying swimming, golf and yoga. Norma was known for her incredible sense of style and her youthful, optimistic approach to life.
As per her wishes there will be no funeral service.
