It is with heavy hearts that his children share the passing of their dad, Jim, on August 5, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer.
Jim was the devoted husband of the late Donna Connelly and will be lovingly remembered by his children, Michael (Karen), Robyn, Adam and Brooke; and grandchildren Mackenzie, Alexander, Spencer, Halle, Chase and Parker.
The middle of thirteen children, Jim is survived by his sisters Madeleine Pearson (late Ralph), Patricia Donnelly (late Bernard), Marcella Patterson (late Arnold), Anne and her husband Paul Hannivan, his brother Murray and his wife Wendy, and brother-in-law Jim Kile. A most favourite uncle, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim was predeceased by his sisters Mary Connelly, Barbara (late Jack) Murphy, Eleanor Kile, Sheila (late Rae) Goarde. He is also predeceased by his brothers Dennis (late Frances), John and Patrick.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Annie (Foley) and Patrick James Connelly of Kirkfield Ontario.
Jim will also be dearly missed by Jean Skeich, his loving companion of a decade, and her family, Shauna (Myles and Payton) and Robert (Andrea, Samantha and Megan).
Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
