Remembering a very special man, Louis Vincent Belcourt, who passed away November 15, 2024 at the age of 81 at the Foyer Lacombe Hospice in St. Albert.
Louis was born March 28, 1943, in St. Albert to Albert and Elzerine Belcourt. He had two brothers, Norman (Isabelle) and Douglas (Chantel) and one sister, Laura Stevensen (Roy). Children, Dan, Gerry and Michelle (Rod), grandchildren, James, Brianna and Bobbi. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Elzerine.
Louis will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jackie, of 50 years and his children, Dan, Gerry and Michelle, grandchildren, James, Brianna and Bobbi, nieces and nephews.
Louis grew up on a farm on Meadowview Drive in St. Albert. His original home and house are a part of the museum today.
Louis loved spending time telling stories with his family and many friends. He enjoyed his horses, going to auctions and rodeos.
He will be remembered for his big heart and his kindness to everyone.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Ken Chow, St. Albert, the doctors and staff at Westlock Hospital and the doctors, staff and clergy at the Foyer Lacombe Hospice for all the love and support in his last days.
A private celebration will be held at a later date.
