It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole De L’Angle Beaumanoir, who left this world peacefully on July 13, 2025, at the age of 88. A beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, who touched countless lives with her warmth, soft heart, and unwavering love for those around her.
Nicole had a heart of gold and was a pillar of goodness to those who were blessed to know her. She brought beauty into the world in many ways—from her love of nursing, music, the arts, literature and animals to the gentle way she cared for her family, friends and patients. She shared her gifts freely. As a dedicated register nurse for 40 years, Nicole would forgo her lunch breaks to play piano and sing for the residents at Norwood or just sit and chat with them, in a soft reassuring manner. Nicole was a long-time member of the St. Albert Parish and enjoyed sharing her love of community and music as a member of the Parish choir. She also volunteered her time at the Youville Home, assisting with mass preparations, playing piano and as a member of the choir.
Nicole’s family was at the centre of her world. She leaves behind her sister, Danielle (André), her sons Paul and James (Heidi); her daughters, Anne (Denis), Marie-danielle (Hector), Julie (Norm), and Evelyne; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, countless nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Pixel.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held when she is interred at the family plot in St. Albert, AB.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the St. Albert Parish located at 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, AB followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall.
