Randall, who RCMP allege fled the scene after the incident, was wanted for attempted murder, but RCMP have not confirmed if he's been charged accordingly. A bail hearing for Randall is scheduled to occur today after which police will be able to announce the charges.
One of the two stabbing victims, a 13-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl, was in critical condition as of Friday afternoon, RCMP said.
Mounties were called to a residence in Riverside around 10 p.m. on Thursday night for a report of an assault, but when officers arrived two teen girls were both suffering from multiple stab wounds and taken to a hospital in Edmonton.
RCMP have said that the victims and suspect knew each other.
