St. Albert weather: Snowfall warning for Tuesday, Wednesday

The warning sees the snow, which can reduce visibility suddenly, tapering off Wednesday evening.

As much as 15 cm of snow could fall on the Edmonton region Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for St. Albert and area for Tuesday night and Wednesday.

As much as 10 to 15 cm could fall.

“Snowfall will begin in western Alberta this evening, spreading eastward through central Alberta by early Wednesday morning,” the bulletin posted shortly before 4 p.m. “The heaviest snow will fall during the day on Wednesday.”

The warning sees the snow, which can reduce visibility suddenly, tapering off Wednesday evening.

“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” Environment Canada warns. “If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.”
