The Environment Canada forecast sees a 30 per cent chance of flurries this morning stretching into the afternoon. With the clear conditions and a 15 km/h wind, the temperature will fall to -24 C, and feel like -28, after lunch.
At these temperatures, ECCC warns of a risk of frostbite.
Clouds will gradually fill the sky towards midnight, wind chill -27 in the evening and -33 overnight. The temperature is expected to rise to just -20 in the morning with the windchill at -31 in the morning and -26 in the afternoon.
Lows in the minus twenties are expected to persist throughout the workweek.
