This isn’t going to be one of those fun weather reports.
Environment Canada sees naught but plummeting temperatures and precipitation in St. Albert’s future.
Currently it’s -18 C at the Villeneuve weather station. The mercury is travelling in the wrong direction today, with a daytime high of -19 C and a wind chill of -22 expected this afternoon.
Partly cloudy conditions this evening will set the stage for a 30 per cent chance of flurries overnight, driven by winds up to 15 km/h. It will feel more like -24 if you’re out and about.
The chance of flurries continues into Tuesday morning, cleaning in the afternoon under a high of -23 C diminished by a punishing wind chill of -27.
Periods of snow are also possible Tuesday night into Wednesday.
