Weather in St. Albert will continue to be unseasonably cold into next week, according to Environment Canada.
The magic number this weekend appears to be 40 as a four-in-10 chance of flurries that persisted from Thursday night will extend throughout today and tonight, and into Saturday.
And Saturday night.
Friday's projected high of -17 C is safely a dozen degrees colder than normal, according to ECCC data. Saturday's high of -16 C won't feel much better.
The snow is expected to abate by Sunday morning, when the temperature may creep back toward normal as well, high -13.
Monday will be the test for these prognosticators, who believe things will start melting with a high of 2 C. And Tuesday? At 7 C, for now, it's better not to even ask.
