The City of St. Albert has released its list of potential photo radar enforcement sites for September 2024.

As required by the province, St. Albert has released a list of potential photo radar enforcement sites for September. Here’s a summary of where they could be stationed in the first week of the month, Sept. 1 to 7:

  • Sept. 1 – Attwood Drive near Attwood Park & Boudreau Road near Bellerose Drive
  • Sept. 2 – St. Albert Trail near Mission Avenue & Oakridge Drive near Oakridge Park
  • Sept. 3 – Cunningham Road near Paul Kane School & Dawson Road near Leddy Avenue
  • Sept. 4 – Sunset Boulevard near Holy Family Catholic School & Boudreau Road near Forest Drive
  • Sept. 5 – McKenney Avenue near Hogan Road & Woodlands Road near Neil M. Ross School
  • Sept. 6 – Sir Winston Churchill Avenue near École Sacré Coeur & St. Albert Trail near St. Anne Street
  • Sept. 7 – Heritage Drive near Henderson Park & Dawson Road near Leddy Avenue.

There is an interactive map of all RCMP-approved photo radar sites on the city’s website. Watch for daily posts at 6 a.m. on the City of St. Albert Facebook page and on X (formerly Twitter) @CityofStAlbert. Site of the Day notifications are also posted on the City’s Photo Enforcement Locations web page.

“Site of the Day notification is one part of St. Albert’s ongoing education campaign, which focuses on defensive and safe driving habits,” a spokesperson wrote in an email. “Enforcement is only one piece of an effective traffic safety program, which also includes engineering, education and evaluation.”
