Two teams of students from Ronald Harvey Elementary School ranked among the best of the best last Friday during the Harriers Elementary Relay.
Held at the Kinsmen Field House in Edmonton on Jan. 24, the relay brought Ronald Harvey students together to race to the finish against dozens of other teams.
For the 200-metre relay, Ronald Harvey's girls team – Avery Rezansoff, Alexandra Watson, Ayden Bennett and Sarah Lenz – took first place in a race that pitted 79 teams against each other.
In a pool of 76 boys teams, Ronald Harvey's boys team – Aidan Heyworth, Reede Kulmatycki, Gavin Faul and Kash Rattray – took third place in the 200-metre race.
Ronald Harvey School is very proud of all its runners who worked hard and participated in the race, along with coaches Ms. Chelsea Stone and Mr. Kris Korven.
