The St. Albert RCMP are asking the public for help in identifying two male suspects after a break-in at a retirement condominium construction site in St. Albert.
On March 2, between 4 a.m. and 4:20 a.m., two unknown males broke into a construction site on Inglewood Drive and stole more than $20,000 worth of circuit breakers and vault plugs.
Thieves made off with 114 ground fault circuit breakers and 114 vault plugs after smashing a glass door to gain entry, RCMP said in a statement released on March 16.
The two unknown suspects were captured on video surveillance.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a slim build, wearing a black hat, black hoodie, grey sweatpants, red gloves, and black shoes with white soles. RCMP say he was carrying a green bag.
The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male, tall, with a strong/medium build, wearing a black ball cap, grey hoodie, and beige coveralls. RCMP say he was carrying a black duffle bag.
Since March 1, the St. Albert RCMP said in the statement that 15 out of the 17 total break-and-enter reports they recieved have come from businesses.
“Numerous construction sites and automotive shops have been targeted, along with a couple of restaurants and other small businesses,” the press statement said.
“St. Albert RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying the two individuals involved in the above construction site break-and-enter or any information regarding the other business break-and-enters that have occurred this past month,” the press statement said.
