Ada, border collie-corgi mix, mature
Hello everyone. My name is Ada and I am a mature border collie-corgi mix looking for a new home where I can spend my golden years. I was picked up as a stray and ended up in the pound. Nobody came to look for me and now I'm in a NASAP foster home getting to know my foster mom and my foster sister, a German shepherd cross who is being very nice to me.
I am an easygoing girl and get along with everyone. I am housetrained and have good house manners. I love the company of humans and am looking for a new home where I can hang out with my family and keep them company. If you are looking for a sedate older dog to complete your family please give me a chance and call NASAP and ask about Ada.
Thanks so much. I really hope somebody will call. I'm anxious to find my forever home!
You can call NASAP at 780-922-0250 or go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the "adopt me" link underneath my picture. Then you can talk to my foster mom and hear all about me and come meet me if you wish. Bye for now and hope to meet you soon ... from Ada.
Broomhilda
Hi there! My name is Broomhilda and I'm a spayed female cat who is approximately one year old. I have a medium length, black coat. I came to NASAP with my four beautiful kittens one month ago from Black Gold Pound. My daughters are Asiah, India and Vada and my son's name is Checkers. I'm a very sweet and loving mother cat and I'm ever so gentle with my little ones and with people. I am quiet and well behaved in my foster home. Honestly I'm just so relieved to have a break and not have to be responsible for everything. There is plentiful food and water here and we have warm beds to sleep in too. What a nice change from living outdoors and fending for myself and so many young ones. I have a funny tail as it is only about half the normal length and twisted at the tip. Two of my kittens also share the same trait. My biggest challenge now is to find a loving family.
For some reason that I don't completely understand, my coat colour makes me less likely to be chosen out of the crowd of colourful cats. Maybe I'll be lucky and someone will appreciate all the extra love and attention that I have to give! I am friendly with other animals and could probably be a companion to other easygoing pets.
Broomhilda's NASAP adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, tattoo, FIV/feline leukemia testing and a post adoption health checkup. Please inquire about adopting Broomhilda today.
