Squeakus and Brownie are father and son guinea pigs. They are two and one year old respectively. These two get along well and have even been known to cuddle while sleeping. Squeakus is the tamer of the two. He is usually the first to take a treat from your hand or to climb up to the second level of the cage. They are also used to being kept in an area of the house where people are around. They make cute sounds when they're hoping for some veggies from the grocery bag. Brownie and Squeakus are a bonded pair to be adopted together. Their familiar, homemade cage is available to go to their forever home with them, free of charge. Please inquire about adopting Squeakus and Brownie.

My name is Boomer and I am a 14-month-old shih tzu-bichon cross. I was rescued from a backyard breeder and never socialized properly as a puppy. I am still timid of strangers and will back away and looked very scared when new people try and say hello to me. I have been with NASAP for a couple of months now and I am slowly coming out of my shell but my foster mom doesn't think I'll ever be the kind of dog to run up and greet strangers. I have never ever bitten or even growled at anyone. I love the company of other dogs and would enjoy having another playful canine buddy in my new home. I really love going for walks and I'm very well behaved on the leash. I am not a big fan of the crate but am getting better at being left in one and don't get so upset any more when my foster mom has to go out for a while. My housetraining status has improved since I arrived but I'm still not completely trustworthy. What I really need is an owner who does not go out to work all day and who has the patience to understand how I came to be so insecure and to help me overcome my fears. If you think I might be the right dog for you, please call NASAP at 780-922-0250 and ask about Boomer. Or you can go online www.nasap.ca and click on the Adopt Me link underneath my picture. I would like to have the chance to meet you. I am being fostered on the south side of Edmonton.
