NASAP

My name is Artie and I have come to NASAP because I was unclaimed at the pound. The consensus is that I am a Chihuahua/miniature pinscher-cross and that I am about eight years old. I'm small and weigh only 15 pounds.

My name is Artie and I have come to NASAP because I was unclaimed at the pound. The consensus is that I am a Chihuahua/miniature pinscher-cross and that I am about eight years old. I'm small and weigh only 15 pounds. But don’t let my age fool you — I am still a very active fella who likes to play and loves to go for walks. I am housetrained, kennel trained and even microchipped. I am a happy little soul who is very gentle and well mannered. And my adorable appearance and sweet personality are hard to resist. I am alone right now in my foster home, but I think I could be with other dogs and/or kids as long as there are no allergies. If you can provide a warm and loving forever home, then I will be your warm and loving forever friend. Please call NASAP at 780-922-0250 if you would like to meet me or talk to my foster mom.

Hello, my name is Dora. I'm a sweet little two-year-old spayed female cat. I have a black coat with three patches of white on my chest and tummy. When the folks at NASAP first met me at the pound last month, I was so small that they thought I was only six months old. I have really blossomed in my foster home. I have gained weight and the fur that I was missing from malnutrition and scratching from untreated ear mites has all grown back. The only thing missing in my life is a loving forever home. I'm very sweet and quiet and I purr softly all the time. I greet visitors at the door and I just want to be close to people. If you move to another room, I will follow and curl up on a nearby chair to watch what you are doing. I like sleeping on the bed at night but I won't disturb you or make a sound. I like my playtime and I am not destructive at all in the house. I am very good about using my scratching post. One thing is a must — I have to find a forever home where I am the only cat. I turn into a very grumpy girl if I meet another feline! I would be happiest as the only pet in the home. I need an indoor-only home with people that will watch over me. I will repay you with love and devotion for many years to come. Dora's NASAP adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, FIV/Feline leukemia testing, microchip, tattoo, deworming and a post-adoption health check-up.
