Morinville man pulled over doing more than 200 km/h

A Morinville man has been charged with dangerous driving after he was caught driving 215 kilometres an hour on Friday morning. A Leduc RCMP member pulled over a black, 2010 Chevrolet Camaro about 7:30 a.m.

A Morinville man has been charged with dangerous driving after he was caught driving 215 kilometres an hour on Friday morning.

A Leduc RCMP member pulled over a black, 2010 Chevrolet Camaro about 7:30 a.m. headed very, very quickly southbound on Highway 2. The speed limit on that section of the Highway is 110 km/h.

Jeremy Hartson, 34, has been charged with one count of dangerous driving.

Const. Krysteen Fitzgerald with the Leduc RCMP said Hartson was pulled over and arrested without incident.

He was released and will make his first court appearance on May 3.
