A story in the June 3 edition of the Gazette misstated comments by Sturgeon County fire Chief Bart Clark. Clark did not say that fire hydrants in the Sturgeon Valley area were little more than lawn ornaments. He did state they are inadequate to provide fire flows and would not be used by county crews in the event of a fire. The Gazette regrets the error.
