In 2015 the St. Albert Centre conducted a survey, in which a number of residents said they wanted to see a HomeSense in St. Albert. While the store won’t be located at the mall, it can be found at #110, 915 St. Albert Trail.

The grand opening of the store is slated to take place April 18 at 9 a.m.

Residents will have another retail option to buy designer brands at affordable prices next month. On April 18 Marshalls will open its doors at 9 a.m.

The store offers popular clothing brands and accessories, along with up-and-coming labels for up to 60 per cent less than regular price.

Marshalls can be found at #110, 915 St. Albert Trail, next to HomeSense. Both stores are owned by TJX Companies Inc.

A new fast food restaurant is frying up some tasty options for St. Albert residents. ONG Hanoi Style Fried Chicken opened March 3 at #110, 15 Perron St.

The restaurant offers fried chicken to go, partnered with Vietnamese condiments like fish sauce and chili sauce. There will also be a few other Vietnamese food options available.

The restaurant is owned by Tu Le, who is also part-owner of Jack’s Burger Shack right next door.
