UPDATE 5:06 pm.: A power outage affecting more than 800 customers in the Erin Ridge, Erin Ridge North and Oakmont areas is no longer listed on the Fortis Alberta website.
The map of the affected area at the time appeared to include Sturgeon Community Hospital and the Erin Ridge shopping district, including Wal-Mart and Save On Foods.
The Gazette has confirmed that the hospital's power was unaffected.
