The city of St. Albert is currently experiencing system and network outages at various locations across St. Albert, it was announced in a news release Tuesday (Aug. 5).
City land line phones are down, but 911 lines are functioning and the city is currently dispatching over radio.
The outage also means that safety inspectors will not be able to access their scheduled customers' information or honour appointments at this time.
"We are working with our vendors to complete the necessary repairs and restore our systems as soon as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience," a news release said.
