Beryl Musila is slated to stand trial for the murder of Ron Worsfold, which is slated to begin on April 24 and run until June 2.  Worsfold went missing in July 2017.

“From our perspective, the current position isn’t financially sustainable. It’s too demanding on employees and volunteers, and we feel that in some cases, unfortunately, victims are underserved,” St. Albert Victim Services board chair Lyle Toop said.

“It’s to help young artists pursue their interests and improve access to elevated educational opportunities. It’s not for regular instruction, but more for workshops, masterclasses and summer programs,” said Kathleen Bell, Legacy Award Program spokesperson. 

The committee is recommending council positions move to full time, with members being compensated $70,000 for the job.
