Prior to this, she spent seven years working for a condominium developer, honing her skills in the industry. Beth's innate curiosity and genuine interest in others drive her to ask insightful questions and listen attentively, allowing her to form meaningful connections with everyone she encounters. With a lifelong background in customer service and years of experience working for a builder, she plays a crucial role in helping clients turn their dreams of homeownership into reality.
“Going into real estate happened almost by accident, actually,” shares Nikita. “Beth was recruited by a builder/developer while working as a sales manager at a furniture store. She had a really hard time finding an assistant and I begged her for months to hire me! Eventually, she did, and the rest is history.”
Working for a builder and watching a development go from a raw piece of land to homes for hundreds of people was so fascinating. We were heavily involved in floor plan design, interior selections, and more. She continues, “I was already obsessed with HGTV and viewing listings on realtor.ca at that point, so a career in real estate made so much sense.”
“At the core of us, though, is our desire to help and serve others. We are both naturally curious and love hearing people's stories and really connecting with them. That's truly the biggest reward in this business for us – that connection.”
Working together, they feel, enhances not only their own work but the experience for clients.
“Being a mother-daughter team is really special. We have different generational perspectives that come with unique knowledge and life experience. Being family and knowing each other so well, we can anticipate each other's needs, deeply trust each other, and really lean on each other's strengths. Not every mother/daughter has the relationship we do; we know how lucky we are to get to work together every day.”
As women in business, they have wonderful advice for aspiring female entrepreneurs.
“Network, network, network!” Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially ones you may think are silly or stupid – they aren't. Find a mentor you really look up to. We have had so many great colleagues and mentors willing to share their experiences and advice. There are so many women, especially in this community, who are willing and love to help empower and uplift other women. It's incredible.”
