Thursday's numbers from the province show St. Albert still has five active cases of the virus, while 25 people have recovered.

There were no new diagnoses of COVID-19 reported in St. Albert Wednesday and another local person has recovered from the illness. Provincially updated figures show St. Albert's total cases of COVID-19 so far still sit at 30.

The number of cases of COVID-19 in Alberta topped the 5,000 mark on Wednesday with an additional 315 diagnosed since Tuesday.
