Another St. Albertan recovers from COVID-19

There were no new diagnoses of COVID-19 reported in St. Albert Wednesday and another local person has recovered from the illness. Provincially updated figures show St. Albert's total cases of COVID-19 so far still sit at 30.

There were no new diagnoses of COVID-19 reported in St. Albert Wednesday and another local person has recovered from the illness.

Provincially updated figures show St. Albert's total cases of COVID-19 so far still sit at 30. Twenty-five people have now recovered, and there are five active cases.

There is no change to the provincial statistics for Sturgeon County, which has seen 12 cases of COVID-19. Ten people in the county have recovered from the illness.

On Wednesday afternoon, Alberta chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said the number of cases that have been confirmed in the province have finally broken the 5,000 mark. She reported 315 new cases on Wednesday and seven more deaths.
