Is it just me or does something stink about the new garbage recycling idea? I currently pay $36.60 every two months for weekly pickup of two bags of garbage plus my recycling. There was no option about paying for recycling; it was automatic.

I am writing about the approach the city is taking towards graffiti. If I understand it correctly, someone commits a crime but the victim is responsible for cleaning up the mess or they get fined for being a victim of crime.

The new DARP has been called visionary, but it is easy to have grandiose visions without regard for costs. What I would like to know is how much the plan will cost and what will be the taxpayers’ share of the cost burden.

I now know why it is called St. Albert Trail — because it’s like travelling on a wagon trail! We moved here eight years ago when the streets were paved and the boulevards mowed.

How do we know when there is an election in St Albert? First city council rushes like a steamroller to pass a plan — in this case DARP— without any realistic financial costing involved.
