Last year, Alberta taxpayers generated 3 BILLION dollars more than oil royalties paid. Meanwhile, the International Energy Agency says, in their latest forecast, that "supply could exceed demand as early as 2027, as the world shifts to renewable energy and biofuels.”

Communities can determine and enforce community standards. Mr, Nicolaides does not have some expertise that gives him superior insight into what’s appropriate. He’s politicizing the issue and needs to stay in his lane.

Instead of attacking the commenters, address their comments. To me, this move of Smith’s just seems like powering up the gaslight. I’m so tired of people telling me what I believe or why. It’s even worse that we have to pay them to do so.

Or keep it free and have Albertans preschedule shots through the health unit. One way or another, the thought of making health care workers pay for theirs is absurd.

There seems to be an assumption that school boards are incapable of functioning without this oversight. These books that the Alberta government highlighted AREN’T available in St. Paul Education schools or the NLLS. The Provincial Resource Review Guide is already in place and being used.
This is another “squirrel” -- an effective, divisive and unproductive distraction.
