One of the best teachers I've ever had; loving, kind and warm.
Going to miss you Mr. Viita.

This is gross negligence from a public official. Experts have found an "incubation period" of up to four to five days BEFORE any symptoms present.
This from Michael Osterholm an internationally recognized expert in infectious disease epidemiology. He is Regents Professor, McKnight Presidential Endowed Chair in Public Health, the director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP), Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences, School of Public Health, a professor in the Technological Leadership Institute, College of Science and Engineering, and an adjunct professor in the Medical School, all at the University of Minnesota. Look for his book "Deadliest Enemy: Our War Against Deadly Germs"

Jorzo Mom nailed it, on all counts.
No Mill Development. No Mill Market. No Mill Square. No Machine Shop. No Train Station. No Algoma Conservatory of Music. No Loft. No Entomica. No Canal District. No Searchmont. No tax incentives for the Canal District and Riverfront Zone.
The Veldman's didn't just shake up this city; they shook awake the land developers, city bigwigs, private investors and the public. They showed us what could be done with our rundown assets.
They bulldozed through red tape, government hoops, and all sorts of obstacles, paying a hefty price in terms of their reputation and capital. They kickstarted these projects, pumped them with life, and then handed them over for others to finish. The community at large have benefited from their involvement and credit should be given where it's due.
