There is a healthy community of muscle car enthusiasts in St.Albert. And I'm a longtime member. We raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthwhile causes and have for nearly 30 years. I do not Rev my vehicle in residential areas myself and we ask that all our participants refrain from any such activity in residential areas. The RCMP have always allowed us to space the line in downtown during the event, and do burnouts then. The people commenting on hearing noise in Grandin especially, are hearing all the vehicles of the earlier mentioned class off of 178 Street in Edmonton. The revving, the donuts and constant racing down the Henday. This disturbance has nothing to do with actual residents in our fine city. As a muscle car owner myself, I hope that my class of vehicles isn't expected to be treated like these newer modified windup popping toys. I support all car lovers, as long as they also respect common sense in residential areas.

Please. Please. Do not turn our beautiful St.Albert, into a junior Edmonton. Do not destroy the skyline. The nature. The communities, that have been the heart and soul of this small, and unique city. Please. If you want big city feel, move next door.

Thank you so much for taking the time, and for eloquently expressing our conversation, Tristan! I look forward to doing the leg work, door-knocking, events, and fundraisers that are to come! Kery Samardzija
