Democratic Rep. Maxwell Frost won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Florida on Tuesday.

Republican Mike Haridopolos won election to a U.S. House seat representing Florida on Tuesday. The 8th District, which is east of Orlando and covers Florida's Space Coast, is the state's only open seat this cycle. Rep.

Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Florida on Tuesday. Wasserman Schultz is the longest-tenured Democrat in Florida's congressional delegation.

Bernie Sanders , the Vermont independent beloved by progressives, won reelection Tuesday to a fourth six-year term in the U.S. Senate. Sanders defeated Republican Gerald Malloy, a U.S. Army veteran and businessman.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Republican Hal Rogers won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Kentucky on Tuesday. Rogers was unopposed in the Appalachian district covering portions of southern and eastern Kentucky.

Republican U.S. Sen. Mike Braun won election as governor in Indiana on Tuesday, defeating Democrat Jennifer McCormick and extending the GOP's 20-year hold on the office.
