On Monday morning, in the aftermath of their Grey Cup loss, I was pondering my immigration to the Rider Nation. I was born and raised in Alberta. I followed the Calgary Stampeders back in the Norman Kwong and Vic Washington days.

This letter is in response to T. Comeau's letter in which she expressed her dissatisfaction with the treatment she received at the Sturgeon Community Hospital when she took her two young children into emergency in the middle of the night.

I live in St. Albert and I am a school bus driver. These two things are not a great combination. I drive a school bus because I want to be the one to raise my children but I also need some income. I enjoy children and can even bring my own along.

I'd like to thank the City of St. Albert for keeping our sidewalks safe in the Pineview neighbourhood by replacing them due to cracking and heaving.

Today was the first day that my bag of recycling was not picked up. The reason: the bag was not blue. I have a number of clear, plastic bags, which are the same size as the blue bags that I have been reusing to gather my recycled goods.

Where were you when the town hall meeting was taking place? Almost every week you read about disgruntled residents complaining about high taxes.
