LETTER: Thank you to Bertha Kennedy for wonderful gesture

"What we saw was a sidewalk full of children, maybe 20 to 25 of them all dressed up in their winter gear. One student came up to the door and placed this wonderful card in our mailbox then continued on down to the end of the line and let the next student do the next house."

My wife and I came home today and noticed something hanging out of our mailbox. To our surprise it was a handmade Christmas card from the staff and students of Bertha Kennedy Catholic School.

However, the most enjoyable part of this beautiful card was when we went back to our door camera to see who delivered it. This was the best part. What we saw was a sidewalk full of children, maybe 20 to 25 of them all dressed up in their winter gear. One student came up to the door and placed this wonderful card in our mailbox then continued on down to the end of the line and let the next student do the next house.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, to the staff and students of Bertha Kennedy for this wonderful gesture during this trying time.

J & S Goerz, St. Albert
