LETTER: Stop interfering with St. Albert's advancement

"Why must future development which benefits ALL citizens be forfeited for the sake of a few opposed?"
letter-sta

Thank you, Coun. Ray Watkins, for expressing how the rest of us feel about self-centered individuals who excel in complaining about some inconveniences of modern city life.

We live in a city, which by definition is a settlement of high density.

Some residents seem to want to have all the amenities of a city without consideration for anyone else.

Why must future development which benefits ALL citizens be forfeited for the sake of a few opposed?

I invite those individuals who oppose the Riverbank Landing’s high-rise and the Midtown development to move to Villeneuve or Vimy where they can rest assured that no multi-story developments will interfere with the amount of sunlight they receive. Move and be happy. Stop interfering with the advancement of OUR city.

Thanks to city council for their forward thinking, their plans for our future and keeping the best interest of the city front and centre.

L. Stevenson
