Thank you to Fountain Park Pool staff who continue to keep our pool safe and open! Kim Menzel and her instructors, Fiona Rogers and her front desk (GSR) staff, and Matthew Fitzgerald the aquatics operation co-ordinator. You are all doing a fantastic job!
To the public who use the pool, thank you for following the rules and safety practices that keep our pool open. Without these rules and practices, we would not be getting the exercise that supports our physical and mental health. Without it, our favorite instructors and everyone else would not have a job!
It is difficult being in a position that has the added responsibility of enforcing the new and ever-changing COVID safety rules. Please remember that our instructors, our lifeguards and our front desk staff have not been trained to be law enforcers! When reminded of a rule, or when confronted with a change in the safety procedures, please give the individual a smile and a heartfelt thank-you for going above and beyond their job descriptions.
