TORONTO — Toronto police say one person is in life-threatening condition after a shooting in the city's downtown on Saturday night. Police say they responded to gunshots shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the area of John Street and Adelaide Street.

Police say a 69-year-old woman is dead and six others are injured after a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Vaughan, Ont. York Regional Police say the crash happened at around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 27 and Rutherford Road.
