Surrounded by love and admiration our dear Vera Ann passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Left to cherish her memory are her son; Darrell, daughter; Deborah (Geoff), granddaughter; Kira Anne (Matt) and grandson; Paul. Vera loved her Podlubny family, enjoying many good times with Louis's brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Vera is now reunited with her loving, devoted husband; Louis, her parents; Annie and Gregory Revega, her infant brothers; Paul and Michael and many other family members and friends who are happy to welcome her home.
Vera was an inspiration to many friends and staff at St. Albert's River Ridge and Ironwood residences. Even though she was blind she was famous for being the angel lover who enjoyed trivia, word games, solving riddles, card games, crafts, and friendship bible study. Our family is grateful for the kind support and compassionate care given by the staff of the Sturgeon Hospital, Marilyn McGreer, Rev. Janet Taylor, Dr. P. DeCaigny, and Dr. D. Zalasky. We give thanks to God for Vera's beautiful long life.
