1944 - 2022

 

Sleeping peacefully, Hugo passed away following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

 

Hugo will be lovingly remembered by his spouse of over 30 years, Sonia; son, Richard (Chantal); daughter, Aliesha and special grandson, Ghray; stepchildren, Andrea, Alana, Oralie and Andy. Hugo will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Magdeline, Lawrence, Rupert, Rudolph, Julianne, Cecilia, Peter and James; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

 

He was predeceased by his beloved son, Jason; parents, Christina and Peter; siblings, Frank, Anna, Anton, Bernard and Louis.

 

Hugo enjoyed country music, fishing, curling, golf, operating his heavy equipment and the company of good friends. He also greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Hugo worked hard and lived life to the fullest. “Drink beer with the angels, big guy.”

 

There will be a private gathering at a later date.
