Monica (Cassidy) Thompson died peacefully on the feast day of our Lady of Fatima, Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the age of 105 years. Monica is the last surviving child of Jim and Emily Cassidy.
She is survived by 6 children, 24 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy, her son Richard and granddaughter Niki.
A Funeral Mass was held on May 20, 2023 at St. Michael’s Parish in Leduc. She was then interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Albert.
