June 30, 1940 – August 5, 2025
It is with deepest love, compassion and gratitude that we announce the passing of Paul Tellier, who left us August 5, 2025, at the age of 85 surrounded by his family.
Paul was born in Morinville, Alberta, on June 30, 1940. He was the son of Robert and Marie Tellier. Paul was a joyful, loving, devoted and kind man who lived his entire life as the Lord's disciple, walking the path of our Lord Jesus. He nurtured and cared for his family and friends as his first priority. He was there to lend a hand to all those around him and spent his life deeply devoted to his family, lifelong friends, his community and church. He was a teacher, a carpenter and adventurer. In later years, he held the role as the Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Paul was a light and a beacon of all that is good.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carmen (Morin); sons, Marc (Brenda) and David; daughter, Collette (Greg); grandchildren, Emily (Joe), Lauren (Ryan), Riley (Liz), Joel (Cassidy), Nathan, and Ben; and great-grandson, Jasper. He is also survived by his siblings, Clara Meunier, Rachel Tellier, Leon (Doris) Tellier, Denise (Clayton) Butler, Rolande (Guy) Wiart, Mariette (Harley) Bergstrom, and George (Dianne) Tellier; his sister-in-law, Florence Tellier; and many other relatives and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert; mother, Marie; brothers, Marcel, Lucien, and Roger; and sister, Gertrude (Lionel); and sister-in-law, Lorraine Tellier.
A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at St. Albert Catholic Church (7 St. Vital Ave., St. Albert, AB T8N 1K1), where family and friends will gather to honor his remarkable legacy.
