It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria (Marica) Takacs who passed away peacefully on January 15th, 2023 at the age of 71. Marica is survived by her daughter Katherine (Hoffman), and her grand children Peyton and Noah. She was predeceased by her husband, Gabe Takacs, of 45 years.
Marica dedicated over 30 years of her life to teaching elementary students. Teaching was her passion, helping to shape the lives of countless students in St. Albert. She also loved spending time with her friends, shopping, cooking and gardening. Anyone who knew her, knew that food was her language of love. Marica leaves behind many loving friends and extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to “The Mustard Seed”, an organization that was dear to her heart.
