Samuel Kelly Gibson
September 10, 1962 – October 14, 2022
We announce the passing of Samuel Kelly Gibson at the age of 60. Sam was born in Melita, Manitoba. He moved out to Calgary in the early 90s. He worked for Canada Post for over 25 years. Sam’s favourite place was at his campsite at Westward Ho.
He is survived by his fiancé Gwenodene Romanko, his sons Jamie and Mike, daughters Amanda and Samantha Taylor, his sisters: Lana, Lorraine, Joy, Carol, Kathy, and Cheryl, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sam was predeceased by his siblings: Ingibjorg, Karen, Ken, daughter Angela, parents Fred and Solveig.
A celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel Hill Royal Canadian Calgary Legion, 606 38 Ave. NE, on Nov. 5 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.
