1932 – 2020
On January 1, 2020, at age 87, Ginny left us as gracefully as she lived.
She is survived by Raymond, her loving husband of 64 years; children Harold (Arin) and Lorna (Eric); grandchildren Zak, Logan, Claire, Kristin and Eric Jr.; siblings Robert (Phyllis), Joanne (David), Doreen, and William (Charmaine); sisters-in-law Ruth and Wilma; brother-in-law Ron; numerous nieces, nephews, great – grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Beth, brother Charles, brothers-in-law Eldon, Paul and Marlin, and niece Starla.
The family wishes to thank all those who cared for and visited with Ginny in the 3 years since a stroke altered her life drastically yet spared her gentle nature. In particular, heartfelt gratitude goes out to staff at Youville Home in St. Albert for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at Lendrum Mennonite Church in Edmonton on February 28, 2020 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
