William "Bill" Rosychuk, a cherished family man, loyal friend, and passionate sports enthusiast, passed away from a heart attack on March 29, 2025, in the serene surroundings of Banff, Alberta. Born on June 4, 1957, in Edmonton, Alberta, Bill's life was one marked by love, generosity, and an unwavering passion for the things and people he held dear.
Bill's heart was always with his family and friends. He was a loving son to his mother, Anne Padlecki, and a devoted father to his sons, Mark (Karen) and David Rosychuk. He will also be missed by his treasured granddaughters, Emma and Brooke Rosychuk; Bill's partner, Terri Stewart; and his brother, Don Rosychuk.
Bill's enthusiasm for life was evident in his love for golf, a game that brought him joy and excitement in equal measure. His loyalty to his favorite sports teams, the Edmonton Eskimos and the Edmonton Oilers, was a testament to his unwavering support and passion for his hometown. Bill also found great joy in his many getaways with his family, especially to Radium, where he could unwind and enjoy time with those he loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chateau Louis Conference Centre, 11420-117 St NW, Edmonton, AB, on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute.
