Phyllis Lynn Pruden
Born - June 10, 1948 - Journey to the next world - February 23, 2023
Phyllis Pruden, passed away on February 23rd at Bethany Cochrane (LTC), AB, at the age of 74, due complications from PLS (Primary Lateral sclerosis) and lung cancer.
Phyllis was born in Lac La Biche, Alberta and was from the Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Treaty No. 6. A proud Nehiyaw Iskwew who dedicated her life to the betterment of Indigenous people and children by the pursuit of education and working as a social worker for 20+ years.
Phyllis life was rooted in love, and she will be forever surrounded by love, and will be remembered as someone who was kind, generous and willing to welcome you in and share a meal.
She is survived by her husband, son, daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren.
